The Copenhagen Health Complexity Center is an interdisciplinary research hub with a focus on addressing complex health challenges. Our vision is to establish a robust and systematic scientific framework for understanding health complexity. This involves analysing the patterns, mechanisms, and dynamics of complex health problems to promote systems change.
To achieve this vision, we are developing a comprehensive scientific infrastructure for real-world health complexity analyses. This includes advancing next-generation public-health theories and methods, creating a globally unique data infrastructure for complexity analyses, and fostering a dynamic collaborative environment where researchers, stakeholders, and the general public can engage.
The Center is part of the Department of Public Health at the University of Copenhagen and focuses on critical areas such as young-adult health, health inequality, and methodological advancements in complexity science. Supported by a generous grant from TrygFonden, we aim to contribute to public health by addressing pressing societal challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative research approaches.
